Two members of Lakeview United Church of Christ in Lebanon, Keith Vogler (left) and Pastor John Specht (right) were commissioned Sunday as Stephen Ministers by Fr. Tom Kreidler of St. Margaret of York (middle). In Stephen Ministry congregations' lay caregivers (called Stephen Ministers) provide one-to-one Christian care to the bereaved, hospitalized, terminally ill, separated, divorced, relocated, and others facing a crisis or life change.
